Sangria Ingredients

Red wine 1 bottle (750ml)
Brandy 1/4 cup
Orange juice 1 cup
Simple syrup 1/4 cup
Orange, sliced 1
Lemon, sliced 1
Lime, sliced 1
Strawberries, hulled and sliced 1 cup
Apple, cored and sliced 1
Club soda 1 cup
Ice cubes As needed
Fresh mint leaves For garnish

Sangria is a vibrant and fruity Spanish beverage that is perfect for entertaining. This refreshing drink combines red wine with a variety of fresh fruits, a splash of brandy, and a touch of sweetness. Sangria is often enjoyed chilled over ice, making it an ideal choice for summer gatherings and festive occasions.

Directions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the red wine, brandy, orange juice, and simple syrup.
  2. Add the sliced orange, lemon, lime, strawberries, and apple to the pitcher.
  3. Stir well to combine and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
  4. Just before serving, add the club soda and stir gently.
  5. Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the sangria over the ice.
  6. Garnish with fresh mint leaves.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
